Installing these panels is extremely easy. A good quality high grab adhesive is applied directly to the back of each panel and arrange on the wall – just like arranging a jigsaw piece. We recommend preparing the wall first then marking out with a tape measure and level before beginning. Allow the panels to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the room for 24 – 48 hours before installing.
Here is an easy step by step installation video we recommend watching to assist.
These panels are to be installed within interiors – not suitable externally. The surface they are installed upon must be flat and smooth. They are not recommended for bathrooms, wetrooms or areas with high humidity levels.
The panels should not be installed near fireplaces, stoves or radiators where there is no proper insulation between the panels or heat source where they may come into direct contact with high-temperatures. This can cause the wood to deform.
Yes, every project is unique and if you have any queries on design we will work with yourselves and Form At Wood to find an ideal solution.
Regardless of the Form At Wood panel used, each panel side is 25cm. This allows you to combine panels together flawlessly.
Price ascending the panels are available in Ash, Oak and Walnut. The Oak panels are available in 5 different standard wood finishes from CO1 to CO5 – please see our colour card. The oak can also be made to a specific RAL colour on request.
You can also request your panels to be unfinished (raw) before the final step of oil or varnish is applied.
The most popular wood option is the Oak in the natural C04 finish.
Yes! Custom colours are entirely possible. The panels in oak wood can be made to a specified RAL colour at an additional cost.
The panels are created from a 2 layer structure. The 12mm base is made from waterproof birch plywood to help minimise warping risks due to humidity. The decorative top layer is solid wood in a choice of either Ash, Oak or Walnut.
Unless specified otherwise the panels are as standard finished with a decorative hard was oil and have a fire rating of D-s2,ds. However if you require fire-resistant materials perhaps for public spaces, special fire-resistant coatings can be applied instead to achieve a rating of B-s1,d0.
